Love CBD E-Liquid

Last update: 5 August 2020

In this page, we are going to take on Love CBD's Sativa and Indica E-Liquids. We are going to dive in deep and give our opinion on what WE thought about these vape juices. Please read on to find out more!

About the Brand

Love CBD is a long-standing UK CBD brand run and operated from Newmarket in the county of Suffolk. They are one of the most well-established brands in the country having been founded in 2014 and having been stocked in shops and service stations for a good while now.

However, being well-known doesn’t automatically make you the best option for customers. In this review, we take an in-depth look at Love CBD’s two 250mg CBD e-liquids – Indica and Sativa.

Look and Feel

On first glance, Love CBD’s products don’t seem like much to write home about.

The packaging and labelling, in our opinion, is quite dated and doesn’t look as sleek as other competitors on the market. Check out The Goods CBD Vape Juice or Love Hemp’s CBD E-liquid to see what we mean.

However, the names of the two products do catch the eye, referencing the cannabis terms used to describe the characteristics of a particular strain-type, Indica and Sativa.

Love CBD goes on to state on its website that its e-liquid has been infused with specific cannabis terpenes to emulate the effect of the two types of the cannabis plant, with the Sativa version tending “to be more uplifting and invigorating.” We would like to add that this is by no means a science and some experts believe that classifying cannabis strains by Sativa/Indica can be misleading (this is more in the THC world of Cannabis in the USA and Canada).

Make of that what you will, but it seems a bit of a stretch to us.

What’s In It?

Cannabinoid Content

In terms of CBD content, the lab report indicated that just shy of 270mg was present in the tested batch, with trace amounts (less than 0.05%) of each of the following cannabinoids:

  • CBDV
  • CBDVA
  • CBG
  • THCV
  • CBDA
  • CBGA
  • CBN
  • Delta 9-THC
  • THC
  • THCVA
  • CBCA

The presence of all of these cannabinoids indicates that this is a full-spectrum CBD blend.

This is thought to increase the overall effectiveness of the CBD and other cannabinoids as they contribute to the entourage effect, making their impact greater than the sum of their parts.

Other Ingredients

As with most CBD E-liquids, Love CBD’s offerings contain a mixture of propylene glycol (65%) and vegetable glycerin (35%).

The jury’s still out on the safety of these additives as vaping ingredients.

Terpenes

The other ingredients in Love CBD’s e-liquid are cannabis terpenes.

These terpenes are what provide the smell and flavour of the CBD liquid and are, presumably, extracted from cannabis plants.

Don’t be alarmed, these terpenes are completely legal and contain no cannabinoids whatsoever.

Terpenes are believed to contribute to the entourage effect and are a natural way of providing flavour to the CBD, providing a more authentic experience than that of artificial flavourings.

Taste

Love CBD’s e-liquid is available in two flavours, you guessed it, Sativa and Indica.

While Love CBD’s tinctures and sprays are renowned for tasting, well, pretty disgusting, the vape juice is actually not bad.

As you can imagine with names like Sativa and Indica, the two both taste quite organic and earthy – not unpleasant, but if you’re looking for some wild flavourings then Love CBD is not the way to go.

Some customers find it quite reassuring to know that the flavouring is natural and are more concerned with the effect the product has over any taste-factor in any case.

Strength

At 250mg Love CBD’s offering is pretty bang in the middle when compared to other vape juices.

We think this is quite a good amount of CBD for new to intermediate CBD vapers who perhaps do not have the tolerance when compared to other more experienced vapers.

If you’re looking for stronger CBD, why not take a look at our review of The Goods 500mg CBD Vape Juice.

Lab reports are provided on the Love CBD website for both products, which you can find by following the links below:

Overall Feeling

Love CBD do a good job at delivering a full-spectrum CBD e-liquid at an affordable price.

The inclusion of cannabis-derived terpenes is an added bonus, although the limitation on flavours may put some people off.

Although the products lack the pizazz of certain other competitors, Love CBD’s offering does what it says on the tin, and the 250mg of CBD is more than enough for anyone new to CBD vaping.
