Before we get started on our Access CBD Oil Review, let’s make one thing clear, “Access CBD.” The clue’s in the name, people!
Access CBD is possibly the cheapest way to “access“high-strength CBD oil in the UK. It is manufactured by British Cannabis, which is the same company responsible for the brand Canabidol (found in Boots). We think this is a great way to acquire higher dosages of CBD without having to break the bank. Check it out for yourself in our Access CBD Oil review!
Description
If there’s one thing that Access CBD prides itself on, it’s value. The company claims to be more than 50% cheaper than the average for every strength oil it sells, which includes 300, 600, 1200, 2400 and 4800mg options.
This price point is one of the biggest selling points of Access CBD, opening up the world of CBD to users who previously wouldn’t have been able to afford it.
Access CBD’s oils are no-nonsense, 30ml “broad plant” CBD available in five different strengths and three different flavours: berry, citrus and natural flavour. These flavours are subtle but a pleasant addition to the oils.
They are certified THC-free and contain MCT Coconut Oil and broad plant CBD extract.
Now, I already know what you’re thinking.
What the !#?* is “broad plant” CBD?
Broad Plant CBD Extract
With the EU’s U-turn on CBD and its potential upcoming classification as a narcotic, we can feel relieved to be living in the UK where CBDÂ will remain a novel food.
However, with legislation coming into play in the UK regarding even low levels of THC, it’s not a great time to be selling full and even broad-spectrum CBD with any presence of THC in them.
That’s why Access CBD use, what they like to call, a broad plant CBD extract.
While this extract excludes any other cannabinoids other than CBD itself, it contains dozens of cannabis phytochemicals, such as flavinoids and our old friends, terpenes.
This allows Access’s CBD to retain the integrity of a broad-spectrum extract, without breaching any UK legislation.
This is different from the Tincture Club’s offering, another low-cost CBD outfit; you can read our review of The Tincture Club here.
Unlike the broad plant extract used by Access CBD, The Tincture Club offers simply MCT oil and CBD Isolate, nothing more nothing less. We prefer keeping as much of the natural plant compounds as possible, but others may prefer this option.
Lab Reports and Testing
In terms of transparency, Access CBD runs a comprehensive testing operation and offers lab reports for every batch of product. These are carried out by the third-party company Eurofins, which are also used by the likes of Harmony CBD.
These reports can be accessed either via the website or by simply scanning the unique QR code printed on the label of every bottle.
This is the kind of transparency which every CBD company should aspire to, and we at CBD Scanner are suitably impressed.
Conclusion
Although the glitz and glamour of other CBD brands aren’t what Access CBD tries to present, this is not necessarily a bad thing.
The company focuses on producing products which are traceable, easy to consume and, above all, represent good value to the consumer.
We really rate this product regardless of price point and urge you to give it a go.
After all, it certainly won’t make much of a dent in your wallet.
