Cannacares CBD Gel Capsules are fairly standard CBD Isolate capsules with a few added ingredients, including the carrier oil MCT Coconut Oil.
Description
Description
Available in packs of either 30 or 60 capsules, Cannacares delivers when it comes to high-quality CBD. Each CBD capsule contains 30 mg of CBD, meaning the 30 pack has a total of 900mg and the 60 pack a total of 1,800mg.
The CBD oil inside each capsule used to be a full-spectrum oil, containing the following cannabinoids:
- CBD
- THC
- CBDV
- CBDVA
- CBG
- CBD
- CBGA
- CBN
- CBC
However, Cannacares have now opted to use CBD Isolate, according to its website. This is despite the fact that full-spectrum oil is present in the listed lab report that dates back to September 2019. Confusing, eh? Let’s hope Cannacares do some updating to clarify this in the near future.
The chosen carrier oil is MCT Coconut Oil, a favourite in CBD oils due to its excellent absorptive capabilities.
Cannacares has also now moved from using a non-vegan-friendly bovine gelatine to a plant-based substance for its casing, which is obviously a big bonus for those vegans unable to take them before.
Conclusion
Cannacares CBD capsules represent a fairly standard affair; it can often be difficult to differentiate capsules on anything more than CBD concentration due to the nature of the products. This is especially true given Cannacares move to a CBD Isolate, although this is not unusual given the legislation on novel foods in recent times.
Still, it would have been nice to see Cannacares retain some of the cannabinoids as in its previous oil so customers could benefit from the entourage effect, however, this is not to be.
