Cibdol CBD Oil
Cibdol's range of CBD oils are widely considered some of the purest money can buy. We asked them if they would send us some samples to try and they kindly obliged... so here's what we found out along with our product score.
Cibdol’s flagship CBD oil range is undoubtedly produced to the highest of standards. Using innovative manufacturing techniques, very stringent testing and careful attention to detail, Cibdol has managed to produce a top-quality oil that ticks all the boxes. At present, this range is available in 5 different strengths: 2.5%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. We at CBD Scanner have sampled their medium-strength 10% CBD Oil. Here’s what we learnt…
How does it look and feel?
The product packaging is of high quality and certainly gives the impression that this is a high-end product. The product branding fits well with the brand image and the glass dropper seems sturdy and well manufactured. The product is clearly described on the packaging along with the concentration and ingredients. Furthermore, the batch code, Best Before date and CBD content is clearly printed on both the bottle and the box.
What carrier oil does Cibdol use?
As with the 2.5% and 5% strength bottles, this oil comes suspended in olive oil. When we asked for Cibdol’s reason behind this, they responded that olive oil is extremely safe in terms of having an extremely low allergy rate in humans. We are happy to hear that they don’t want to cause us allergic reactions! What’s more, Cibdol also sell a hemp seed oil-based range as well as Black Cumin seed oil which is certainly a unique offering!
What does Cibdol’s CBD Oil taste like?
Cibdol claims their oil to be Full Spectrum. This affects the taste, making it slightly earthy and with a light “cannabis” taste. We did not find this to be overpowering. This taste usually is a direct result of the presence of terpenes, which are widely thought to contribute towards the health benefits of the CBD through the “Entourage Effect”.
CBD Quality and Content
It’s all nice and well that the products look the part and taste good, but we came here for CBD. Does it stand up to the test?
About Cibdol’s cannabidiol (CBD)
Cibdol extracts their European grown hemp in Swiss labs, known for their precision, strict standards and unwavering quality manufacturing principles. Unlike some other oils, this oil is refined which is why it is gold in colour as opposed to other darker raw hemp extracts or clearer oils which use CBD isolate. The Cibdol production facility has earned the prestigious FSSC 22000 Food Safety Certificate proving they have excellent hygiene and food safety protocols.
Is this product lab tested?
Each batch of their CBD is analysed for Heavy Metals, pesticides, microbial agents, cannabinoid, terpenoid profiles and more! The batch results can be found on the Cibdol website in the CBD analysis section. We were really happy at how transparent and honest Cibdol have been with their independent analyses of their products. Top marks from CBD Scanner!
