Foria is a U.S. company that first made a splash by being one of the first companies to incorporate CBD into a variety of “alternative” products such as suppositories for period pains and sexual lubricants. Ingredients/Composition

Despite Foria marketing the product as Broad Spectrum CBD, on a closer look at its lab report, there was only CBD detected and zero of any other cannabinoid. This means the product is the less superior CBD Isolate. This lack of transparency from the company is a major negative, especially as the product is not as good as they claim it is.

The use of broad-spectrum CBD, which carries a range of cannabinoids and terpenes, is designed to enhance the potency and efficacy of the chemical. However, this is not the case for this product, given that only CBD is present.

However, the combination with high-fat, zero-carb MCT Coconut Oil increases CBD’s bioavailability – meaning a higher percentage of it is actually absorbed into the bloodstream.

With 1000mg, the vial will give you 60 servings based on a 0.5ml dose. That’s around 16.5mg of CBD Isolate per dose and around 33mg per millilitre.

Where are the ingredients sourced?

All the tonic’s ingredients are sustainably farmed, organic certified and independently tested.

The hemp is sun-grown without pesticides on a sustainable farm in the U.S, and extraction of its CBD-rich oil is performed without the use of toxic solvents.

The MCT used by Foria sets them apart from companies with cheaper supply chains that may use “non-organic MCT from palm oil plantations or from bleached and deodorized aged coconuts“. Foria’s sustainable and organic MCT comes from virgin coconut oil produced via cold-centrifuge.

Finally, Foria subjects all of its products to regular, comprehensive third-party lab testing to ensure purity, potency and safety of ingredients and production processes – from extraction to encapsulation. Use and dosage

The Welnness Tonic is formulated for daily use, yet affords the flexibility to increase the dosage when needed.

For best absorption, take your preferred dose (0.5ml – half a dropper full) and swirl the oil around your gums, tongue and cheeks before swallowing.

If this is not possible, you can add to a beverage, >which may make measuring easier and avoid any unwanted aftertaste, however, also means you will absorb less of the CBD.
